Treasury Unveils Lucrative Job Opportunities: 426 Positions with Salary up to Ksh100,000; Application Guide Inside

Tuesday, June 13, the National Treasury and Economic Planning called for applications for 426 vacant positions within the ministry.

The positions advertised included Principal Debt Settlement Officers (7), Principal Resource Mobilisation Officers (13), Principal Debt Management Officers (8), Principal Assets Management Officers (4), and Principal Internal Auditor (204).

In addition, there were 96 Senior Internal Auditors, 7 Principal Intergovernmental Fiscal Relations Officers, 12 Senior Economic Policy Analysts, 22 Principal Finance Officers, 41 Finance Officers, and 12 Principal Pension Assistants.

There were various job grades, with some paying up to Ksh100,000 in total compensation, including allowances.

Those in job grade 8 will receive Ksh87,360 per month, a Ksh35,000 housing allowance, and a Ksh8,000 commuter allowance.

Applicants for jobs in grade 9 will receive a monthly salary of Ksh59,120, a house allowance of Ksh28,000, and a commuter allowance of Ksh6,000.

To view the requirements, all interested candidates were instructed to visit the official website at www.treasury.go.ke.

To apply for your desired position, hover over the Resource Centre tab and select the Vacancies tab on the website.

“Only successful and shortlisted applicants will be contacted. Applicants must present originals of their National Identification Cards, academic and professional certificates, and transcripts during interviews, according to a portion of the advertisement.

The application must be submitted on form PSC 2 (revised in 2016) to the Principal Secretary of the National Treasury at P.O. Box 30007-00100, Nairobi.

The candidates were cautioned against submitting forgeries.
