Tragic Incident: Police Officer Shoots Wife and Self in Bondo
Detectives from the Bondo Sub-County are looking into an incident in which a Police Constable (PC) shot and critically injured his wife before turning the gun on himself. The incident is currently under investigation.
The peculiar occurrence that took place early on Friday morning has residents perplexed and perplexed.
“At about 0835hours, Police Constable Michael Kyalo who was deployed for the day’s court orderly duties and issued with a rifle S/No AK 5524195 shot his wife identified as Brenda Kangai Kimanzi on the left thigh and turned the rifle on himself,” the police incident report states.
In addition, the report stated that the officer’s wife had survived, while he had passed away in an instant. According to the reports, the unfortunate event was precipitated by a disagreement between the deceased and a member of their household.

The spouse received medical attention at the Bondo Sub-county Hospital after being rushed there. “It is reported that the subject returned to the house and picked a quarrel with the wife, which unfortunately ended in him shooting the wife and himself,” the police said. “The circumstances surrounding the shooting are tragic.”
Senior officers, led by the Bondo Sub-county Commander of Police (SCPC), Ibrahim Kosi, traveled to the location to investigate the incident. According to Mr. Kosi, the investigations are currently taking place, and they will be able to have adequate information in the future.
“The officer exhibited a reasonable amount of composure. He had a duty that he had to perform in the morning, and when he returned home, he and his wife had an argument, which prompted him to take the step. “We have started looking into this, and we will keep you updated as we learn more,” Mr. Kosi stated.
According to reports, the 33-year-old man shot live bullets into the air eight times before turning the gun on himself, causing his coworkers to flee in fear. He then turned the gun on himself.
