Thee Pluto’s plea: Pray for me as I battle depression

In his public appeal, the YouTuber admitted that he is slowly losing his mind due to depression.

Robert Ndegwa Kamau, aka Thee Pluto, a Kenyan YouTuber, is requesting that his fans pray for him.

The content creator revealed on Saturday that he is battling depression, prompting his fans to pray for him.

“Honestly, I’m losing it. Depression is eating me slowly from the inside. Pray for me,” Thee Pluto said. 

In his public appeal, the YouTuber admitted that he is slowly losing his mind due to depression.

Fans took to the comment section after Thee Pluto’s revelation to encourage him to be courageous.

Depression is a mental disorder whose prevalence has increased over time.

In 2017, the World Health Organization (WHO) ranked Kenya as the most depressed nation in Africa, with 4.4% of the population experiencing depression.

According to the report, the majority of the victims were male.

The Mental Health Taskforce urged the Kenyan government to declare a mental health emergency on July 7, 2020.
