mrembolily society needs to address DEPRESSION in MEN!.. This African conation and conditioning to believe men are strong and should deal with issues alone is outdated and very harmful. I am sending comfort, clarity and good health to anyone suffering from depression.โค๏ธ

Many people, including our celebrities, have fallen victim to depression as a result of the difficulties that life presents.

You may believe that their lives are perfect, but they are also human beings, and some of them may be struggling with issues that we are unaware of.

There is a great deal of pressure that comes with being in the public eye, from people having high expectations of you to everyone meddling in your life because you have no privacy and must keep up with rumors and negative stories.

Several other Kenyan celebrities have spoken out about their struggles with depression and suicidal ideation to reassure their fans who may be going through a difficult time that things will get better.

Some of the celebs who have battled depression include, Kimani Mbugua, Betty Bayo, Kenzo Matata, Annitah Raey, actress Njambi, Ciru Muriuki, Anita Nderu, Prezzo, Vanessa Mdee, actress Miss Morgan, actor OJ, Joey Muthenji, Mejja, Pierra Makena, Grace Ekirapa, Chito Ndlovu, Maureen Waititu, Njoro the Comedian, Robert Burale among others.

Counselors, physicians, and psychologists advise that if you are experiencing mental health issues, you can always seek assistance. Call the toll-free Kenya Red Cross hotline at 1199 for assistance.
