“The Lord Will Fight for You and Your Household”- Spiritual Kawira Mwangaza Breaks Silence After Ouster
Kawira Mwangaza responded after the Senate chose to confirm her impeachment, expressing confidence that divine support would aid her in the struggle.
Rather than focusing on the political strife or accusations that resulted in her removal, Mwangaza chose to communicate through social media, delivering a message of unwavering faith and strength inspired by biblical teachings.
“Today, the Lord will fight for you and your household, he will give you permanent victory in every area of your life,” Mwangaza posted.
“A new beginning of victorious living is starting for you and you shall have great testimonies.”
Mwangaza’s declaration, though steeped in spirituality, also hinted at subtle defiance and optimism.
While discussing the opening of doors to blessings and greatness, and the restoration of missed chances, Mwangaza projected an image of herself not as a vanquished politician, but as a tenacious leader who trusts in divine aid amidst challenges.
“Every door of blessings, greatness shut at you shall be open, every missed opportunity shall be restored,” she continued.

On Tuesday, the Senate convicted her of severe breaches of the Constitution, various laws, misconduct, and misuse of her official position.
Even with the ongoing political and legal struggles, her statements imply that she perceives a divine influence shaping her life and the lives of her backers.
“Divine visit from heaven that will change all ugly situations in your life to beautiful in your life will manifest today,” Mwangaza concluded.
The Constitution allows her to challenge the Senate’s decision through an appeal. If the legal system deems her challenge valid, a court order could restore her position.
Her removal from office was determined after a Senate vote, with Speaker Amason Kingi declaring the results.
“Under Article 181 of the Constitution, Section 33 of the County Government Act, and Standing Order 86 of the Senate Standing Orders, the Senate has resolved to remove from office by impeachment Hon. Kawira Mwangaza, the Governor of Meru County, and the governor accordingly ceases to hold office,” Speaker Kingi declared after the voting.
