Kepha Ng’ang’a, a former teacher who was dismissed from the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), is now reaching out for assistance from ex-President Uhuru Kenyatta. He emphasizes that he had been the one to teach Kiswahili to the former president.

In 2002, while employed in Gatundu, the teacher refined Uhuru’s speeches at the request of the deceased Permanent Secretary (PS) Wamatu Njoroge.

According to accounts, the teacher encountered the Principal Secretary (PS) at a school awards event, showcasing his impressive command of the Kiswahili language, which left a positive impression on the PS.

He went on to clarify that the ex-president was articulate in both English and his native language, Kikuyu. However, his proficiency in Kiswahili was not at the same level.

Ng’ang’a explained that he and Uhuru convened daily for forty-five minutes from September to December during the campaign season to enhance the former Head of State’s communication skills in addressing the Kenyan people.

Nevertheless, Ng’ang’a explained that he was terminated from his position at the TSC because he participated in political campaigns.

He observed that he filed an appeal with the commission to be reinstated, but his plea was disregarded due to his engagement in political matters.

Ng’ang’a is currently seeking an audience with the ex-president, asserting that he is facing challenges meeting his needs following the loss of his employment.

“ I live in a two-roomed house and I am unable to sustain my children in school. I have also been struggling to place food on my table as I am barely making ends meet,” stated Ng’ang’a

The instructor mentioned that he currently holds a position at a private school in the country, emphasizing the modest income associated with the job.

Nevertheless, this isn’t his initial attempt to meet with Uhuru, as previous efforts have been unsuccessful.

The teacher is committed to persistently attempting to get the former President’s attention until she succeeds in securing an audience with him.

In another context, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua recently had an encounter with a woman who had served as the caretaker for his deceased father, commending her dedication to looking after him.
