Tables Are Turning- Margaret Wanjiru Warns Ruto & Gachagua After Hospitalization

Bishop Margaret Wanjiru has cautioned President William Ruto and his deputy, Rigathi Gachagua, about possible consequences related to the claimed appropriation of property owned by her Jesus is Alive Ministries in the Central Business District (CBD).

Addressing her church members after being released from the hospital on Thursday, March 8, Wanjiru claimed that prominent government figures were making deliberate efforts to take possession of her assets, even though the church is the rightful owner.

She pondered the reason behind the President and his deputy observing while government officials and the police subjected her to mistreatment.

Wanjiru conveyed her displeasure with the pair, highlighting her diligent efforts to secure their victory in the 2022 General Election.

She asserted that she had affection for and prayed for the pair, but the evolving situation at her city center church made it impossible to continue their professional collaboration.

“How many screams does Margaret Wanjiru have to make for anyone to respond and rescue us? Is this how you reward our hard work? Believe me, you will look for me.

“I was one of the founding members of UDA. I worked for two years straight before people came and took what I worked for and I let it go. I’ve loved you and your family. I have never disrespected you.. but the tables are turning,” she stated.

Alternatively, she conveyed concerns about the safety of her life and her family, asserting that individuals involved in land grabbing were determined to seize control of the property.

However, she asserted that she legally acquired the disputed property and emphasized that she held the official title deed.

“We have never grabbed anybody’s land. We do not even accept land that does not have a title deed. The sanctity of that document is very important and that is what gives you the right of a property.

“We bought this property many years ago. Along this Weruga lane, no land belongs to the government, it only belongs to investors like ourselves,” she remarked.

Wanjiru was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday following an incident in which she was reportedly subjected to physical force by police officers while supervising the construction of a boundary wall.

Reports are suggesting that Kenya Railways is in control of the land, but the corporation has not made any statements regarding the issue.
