The NTSA explained the four-step process to a stranded motorist who was attempting to log in to the platform.

To initiate the process, the individual must present both the original national identification card and a copy of the original card at NTSA offices.

Additionally, the account holder must appear in person at NTSA with an original affidavit to complete the procedure.

Notably, the TIMS platform manages all aspects of vehicle registration, inspection, and licensing while providing motorists with additional services.

Vehicle registration, vehicle inspection, driving license application, renewal, vehicle ownership transfer, and payment of fines and penalties are among the services provided by the platform.

All drivers without an account are strongly encouraged to sign in to the NTSA TIMS portal at tims.ntsa.go.ke to gain access to the many available services.

Moreover, motorists can access the services via the eCitizen government platform, which provides Kenyans with additional digital services.

Follow the three steps outlined by NTSA if you wish to change your phone number on the government platform.

Send an email to support@ecitizen.go.ke requesting a phone number change, along with a copy of their identification and any other pertinent documents.

To conclude the process, motorists must provide a new phone number that must be associated with the ID provided.

Applicants for an eCitizen account must be Kenyan citizens or foreign residents, at least 18 years old, and in possession of a national identity card or national alien card number.
