Stella, the inspiration for the hit song by Freshly Mwamburi, returned to Kenya from Japan on May 17.
Stella’s return generates online buzz Freshley narrated in the Stella Wangu hit how he sold properties to help his lover study in an Asian country.
However, he received a rude awakening when she landed at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. “Stella alishuka amebeba mtoto mkononi, nyuma yake mchumba wake mfupi, futii nne Mjapani,” sings Freshley in the timeless hit.
Massive numbers of Kenyans have taken to the Internet to celebrate Stella’s return by sharing humorous posts and other sentiments.
