Speculation as Ndindi Nyoro Flies to Bondo After Ruto-Raila Uganda Meeting
Ndindi Nyoro, the Member of Parliament for Kiharu, traveled to Bondo Constituency on Sunday morning to attend a church service, just a few days after President William Ruto visited the same region.
In the same week, the Head of State encountered opposition leader Raila Odinga at the Kisozi Farm of Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni.
During the church ceremony held at St. Andrew’s Bondo Catholic Church in Bondo Constituency, Siaya, the Member of Parliament commended the local leaders for their dedication to advancing development in the area.
The lawmaker’s arrival coincides with widespread speculation that President Ruto and Raila may reach a political agreement, influenced by the latter’s candidacy for the African Union (AU) Commission chairmanship.
In the meantime, Ndindi Nyoro observed that the local leadership was committed to offering education to the residents, an area where the present administration was also focused on making significant investments.
Furthermore, the lawmaker highlighted that in the current budget development phase in the Parliament, the government is focused on promoting expansion in the fields of agriculture, education, and employment opportunities for the youth.
“We have increased allocations to the Teacher’s Service Commission (TSC), we have allocated Ksh26 million to hire the teachers who were on internship on a permanent and pensionable basis,” explained Ndindi Nyoro.
Ndindi urged Kenyans to eliminate ethnic politics as a means to enhance various aspects across the nation.

Furthermore, Ndindi persisted in encouraging young individuals to seek employment opportunities offered by the government in overseas countries as a strategy for combating unemployment.
He went on to provide more details, clarifying that although the government had announced 2,000 nursing positions, only 500 applications were received for these positions.
Further Ndindi commended Homa Bay County for its conference held in the previous week citing that all leaders should emulate the Nyanza leaders in development.
He further reiterated the national government’s commitment to the development of all regions within the country regardless of political leanings.
Ndindi’s visit to Nyanza comes at a time when there has been speculation in the Kenya Kwanza camp of him being lined up to be President Ruto’s running mate in the 2027 election.
Earlier in the week when President William Ruto visited Homa Bay, he hinted at the State bankrolling Raila’s bid for the AUC chair position, which he used as evidence to justify his commitment to national unity.
