Ruto’s US Tour Squad(List)
President William Ruto commenced his three-day state visit to the United States on Monday.
Accompanied by First Lady Mama Rachel Ruto, the President landed at the Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport, touching down at 9:45 am US time.
Upon arrival, President Ruto and his entourage, which includes Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, Defence CS Aden Duale, Health CS Susan Nakhumicha, Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga, Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti, National Security Advisor Monica Juma, Council of Governors Chair Anne Waiguru, Senate Majority leader Aaron Cheruiyot, and National Assembly Majority leader Kimani Ichung’wah, were welcomed at the airport.

President Ruto’s itinerary for the day begins with a visit to the Carter Presidential Library and Museum, followed by a stop at Ebenezer Baptist Church, where he will honor the Civil Rights movement and highlight the positive impact of religion.
His third engagement will center on the US-Kenya Health Partnership at the Center for Disease Control (CDC) headquarters, where various collaborations between the CDC and Kenya will be unveiled.
Subsequently, President Ruto and the First Lady will engage with Kenya’s Diaspora community in Atlanta.
This state visit marks the first of its kind for an African leader in 16 years, offering President Ruto the opportunity to advocate for Kenya as Africa’s premier investment destination.
He plans to encourage US multinational corporations to capitalize on the diverse investment opportunities in Kenya, spanning ICT, e-mobility, agriculture, infrastructure, housing, renewable energy, and carbon markets.
