The counties of Rift Valley and Mt. Kenya have the highest quality roads in Kenya, according to a new report by InfoTrak.

The six counties with the finest roads in Kenya, according to a report released on Monday, are located in two regions that are also the political strongholds of President William Ruto and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

The six counties with the finest road infrastructure were ranked as follows: Nyeri (59%), Elgeyo Marakwet (57%), West Pokot (57%), Kericho (57%), Uasin Gishu (57%), and Kirinyaga (56%).

The top 10 counties with the finest roads were rounded out by Trans Nzoia (56%), Murang’a (56%), Nairobi (56%) and Bomet (54%).

โ€œEfficient road and transport systems are crucial for enhancing connectivity, accessibility, trade, and overall economic growth and development,โ€ the research company observed in a statement.

Among the enumerated counties, the five counties with the least efficient road transport systems were Nyandarua (52%), Vihiga (52%), Kiambu (52%), Tharaka Nithi (52%) and Migori (52%).
