RAILA Disappoints Supporters with Explanation for Pushing RUTO on IEBC Servers
Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has revealed that he is not interested in removing President William Ruto, which may be interpreted as a betrayal of his supporters.
In addition, he has maintained pressure on Ruto to facilitate the opening of IEBC servers so that he and the Kenya Kwanza leader can determine who won the 2022 presidential election.
Raila, speaking in Kilifi County, refuted claims that he had urged the IEBC to release the servers to dethrone Ruto.

Instead, he insisted that Azimio cared only about the truth and nothing but the truth.
Moreover, he argued that opening the servers would allow Azimio to know definitively who won the election. Since the opposition did not believe the IEBC’s count. He reaffirmed that he would accept the outcome. If the servers reveal that Ruto defeated him in the Presidential Election on August 9, 2022.
According to Raila, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission’s (IEBC) decision to open the servers was one method of promoting electoral transparency.
“When the results were announced, four IEBC commissioners disagreed with the results, which is why we demanded the server be opened,” Raila explained.
“By stating that the server should be opened, we do not imply that Ruto should resign from office. We simply wish for the truth to be known. “Let it be known if we are lying, but they have refused to open the servers,” he added.
In the hope that the truth will make Baba the president. Azimio supporters had been protesting and demanding the opening of IEBC servers. But after Raila’s revelation, they may never return to the streets again.
