Raging Crowd Attacks UDA MP Jane Njeri Maina
Jane Njeri Maina was evacuated to Nairobi for emergency medical treatment after she was assaulted by thugs at a political function on Tuesday, August 22.
Her communications team told GossipA2Z.com that Maina was evacuated by Minet, an insurance company that provides emergency services.
“Yes, Mahesh was evacuated after Governor (Kirinyaga chief boss Anne Waiguru) sent goons to attack her, but they failed,” the officer claimed.
GossipA2Z.com was unable to independently confirm the allegations but reached out to the governor and her staff in an attempt to obtain a response. Waiguru was currently unreachable.
Maina was on a meet-the-people excursion in Kerugoya when she encountered the unruly youths who prevented her from addressing the public.
The Woman Representative was with Baragwi Ward MCA David Mathenge, who was also involved in the altercation.
The two commanders fled on foot before seeking refuge in their automobiles. The two were transported promptly to Kerugoya Hospital for emergency medical care.
Before the incident, Maina and Mathenge had planned to meet with correspondents to discuss the development of Kirinyaga.

“We had intended to discuss a variety of topics, including the recent incidents in which women and the disabled were assaulted by County residents.
The Woman Representative stated, “We would like to assure anyone who has been harmed that we will not relent until they have received justice.”
Several cars used to convey the leaders were damaged as a result of the commotion, with numerous windshields broken.
The Kirinyaga Woman Representative asserted that the assault was premeditated and backed by a prominent county politician.
“Everything was proceeding normally until a group of adolescents on motorcycles attacked us. In addition, they harmed those who were listening to us,” Maina said.
Jane Njeri Maina will address the county deaf community on Sunday, December 9, 2022, at an event commemorating the international week of the Deaf.
Representative Maina asserted that the assault was intended to thwart her political efforts.
However, the Kirinyaga Woman Representative pledged to persevere and work closely with the administration of President William Ruto.
Maina’s supporters urged the Inspector General of Police to ensure that those responsible for the attack, notably those who funded it, are brought to justice.
