Planned Power Outages Across Seven Counties in Kenya on Tuesday
Kenya Power has planned a power outage on Tuesday for specific areas across seven counties.
The utility company announced that the power interruptions will occur between 9 am and 5 pm.
The counties that will be affected are Kajiado, Baringo, Nyandarua, Trans Nzoia, Kisii, Nyeri, and Kiambu.
Kajiado
In Kajiado, the areas that will be affected include parts of Isinya, Pipeline Road, Ramoda, KEDA Ceramic, Glob Seal, Inkiito, Isinya Town, Ashanti, Tumaini, Kingsun, Sabsahara, Diaspora, PJ Dave, Namanga Road, Enchoroi, and nearby customers.
Baringo
The affected parts of Baringo will include Mogotio Equator, Muiya Dam, Molok, Ravine Glory Hospital, Lomanira, and nearby customers.
Nyandarua
In Nyandarua, the areas that will experience power outages include the entire Weru, Githabai, Kwa Joma, Koinange, Gituro, Kiahuko, Kwa White, Kirima, Kwa Ben, Elmer Resort, Rimiflora, Murungaru, Top Harvest Farm, Memo Centre, Turasha, Mwangaza, Kihumbu, Jura, Lereshwa, Neema Children’s Home, and nearby customers.

The areas in Trans Nzoia that will be affected include Kisawai, Saboti, Muroki, Mlango, Cheptumbelio, Elgon Tea, Gitwamba, Mengo, Kitalale, Kinyoro, Nakami, Olkadongo ADC, Panocal, and Marambachi.
Kisii
In Kisii, the areas that will be without power during the specified period include Embonga Hotel, Kisii East Garage, CITAM Church, Senti, Botori SDA, Marshpark Hotel, Bosongo Hospital, Le-Premier Hotel, Kisii Junction Hotel, Mwenzangu Building, and nearby customers.
Nyeri
In Nyeri county, the areas affected will be Naromoro Town, Isacco, Triple AAA Growers, Naromoru Hospital, Naromoru Total Petrol Station, Police Line, River Lodge, and Naromoru Sewer Line.
Kiambu
The areas in Kiambu to be affected by the scheduled power outage include Ruiru Prisons, Super Foam, DPI, Kenya Tents, Redland Roses, parts of OJ, Shell OJ Petrol Station, Sweet Water, Little More, BTL Police, Membley Riverside, parts of Tatu, Crawford International School, and Hardy Kenya.
Additionally, Universal Corporation and customers in Kikuyu Town, Ondiri Swamp, Kidfarmaco, and nearby customers will also be impacted.
