Ngina Kenyatta Soars to New Heights, Fulfilling Her Father’s Vision Beyond Uhuru’s Retirement
Ngina Kenyatta, the daughter of former President Uhuru Kenyatta. Is carrying on her father’s legacy by offering scholarships and mentoring students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Kenyatta Ngina continues to inspire thousands of lives as the director of the non-profit Kenyatta Trust. Months after her father handed over power.
On the organization’s website. Ngina emphasizes that she was inspired to continue her father’s legacy of providing opportunities to the disadvantaged.
The organization, founded by Uhuru, provides scholarships to over 3,000 students nationwide.
In addition, the organization offers mentoring and economic empowerment programs.
Recently, the organization held a workshop titled Janjaruka Camp. In which students were mentored on their career mental health and financial responsibility.
On June 6, the Kenyatta Trust also hosted a prize-awarding ceremony to honor students who achieved outstanding results in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) 2022.
Three students from Budapest, Hungary, who graduated in March 2023, were among the other international students honored at the event.
Even though Ngina was absent from the shared photos, the Trust indicated that all directors contributed to the success of the activities.

In addition to working with her father, Ngina. A graduate of International Relations and Politics, manages the Trust alongside her aunt, Nyokabi Kenyatta.
“As a director of the Kenyatta Trust, I’ve committed to transforming the lives of the beneficiaries through education, social empowerment, skill development, and mentoring.
“Through the Kenyatta Trust, we intend to raise children who are not only academically proficient but also well-rounded in all facets of life. “I hope that we can raise a generation of leaders who not only inspire others with their words but also with their everyday actions,” she said.
According to Uhuru, he founded the organization due to the country’s rising school dropout rate.
“For many years, I fought against the high school dropout rate in my district and the nation. I believe diversity is one of Kenya’s greatest strengths. It leads to a dynamic and vibrant society fueled by a constant exchange of ideas,” explained the former head of state.
Ngina Kenyatta’s Private Life
Ngina, like her siblings, has led a private life during and after her father’s presidency.
The last time she was seen in public was on April 29, when she was spotted alone in Nairobi’s central business district.
In June 2022, Ngina wed the love of her life in a private ceremony in Nairobi. One child is a blessing for the couple.
