Nairobi Protests: Azimio Identifies 3 Grounds for Maandamano
The leaders of the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party have stated that their anti-government demonstrations will proceed as scheduled in Nairobi.
The leaders, led by the leader of the Narc Kenya Party, Martha Karua, stated at a press briefing that the demonstrations will take place at three locations in Nairobi this time around.
Karua stated that the demonstrations will occur on the Joseph Kang’ethe Grounds in Kibra, as well as the historical Kamukunji and Jacaranda Grounds, and that a sufuria movement will then be initiated.
“There will be three points of convergence in Nairobi: Joseph Kang’ethe Grounds, Kamukunji, and Jacaranda.” Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, let’s convene at Kamukunjis throughout Kenya. Martha Karua: Gather in great numbers. In the statement, Azimio la Umoja urged Kenyans to continue signing their petition to remove President William Ruto from office, which is part of their online campaign.
“We encourage Kenyans to continue picketing, demonstrating, and protesting as much as possible in their local communities. “We must be heard,” she stated.

She urged Kenyans to put on their armor of courage and strive to liberate the country from the dictatorship she described.
Raila Odinga praises people slain in Azimio demos After the anti-government demonstrations on Wednesday, July 12, the leader of the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party, Raila Odinga, praised the protesters who were slain.
Raila characterized those killed and injured as valiant soldiers who religiously fought for a just cause, but who were allegedly met with extreme brutality facilitated by state manipulations.
“As we press forward, we express our condolences to the families of all those slain by Ruto and honor them as martyrs of our liberation. We acknowledge all those who are being detained and charged as political prisoners. We will prevail,” said Raila.
Despite the violence they encountered, a motivated Raila told his supporters that Kenyans have never lost a fight against the government.
