Missing: Former Treasury Official Tom Mokaya Osinde

Tom Mokaya Osinde, a former Treasury official, was reported missing on Saturday, June 24.

The family stated to the press that his vehicle was recovered, vandalized, and abandoned in Kilgoris, Transmara West.
The family added that the last time they spoke with him was on June 23. When he left the house in his car.

Osinde, who resides in Ngata, Farm, Nakuru. Is the brother of the late Ken Nyauncho Osinde, who served between 2010 and 2014 as Kenya’s ambassador to Germany.

Concerned, the family pleaded with the public or anyone who knew his whereabouts to contact them or file a report at the nearest police station.

As investigations into Osidne’s disappearance commenced, police interrogated the family members and recorded their statements.

“The most important factor is bringing him back alive,” Currently, everyone is attempting to ensure the safety of our relatives, according to a family spokesperson.

According to his family, Osinde was a philanthropist who contributed generously to numerous nonprofit organizations. He was also described as a generous and kind man who was beloved by his family and friends.

Uncle Fred Obachi Machoka, the host of the Citizen television program, was among his friends who urged the police to intervene.

“I have just learned that an old friend of mine has gone missing! Please assist in locating this gentleman,” Machoka pleaded.

Police were reportedly treating the report as a high-priority investigation, with recorded statements providing detectives with crucial leads.

His family hoped that the police would solve the mystery and reunite him with his family as the search for the missing former civil servant intensified.
