In a rare and honest interview with Mouloud Achour on Clique TV, the French forward gave a rare peek into his highly private personal life.
When asked if he had ever experienced love, Mbappé replied, “Yes, for my mother, father, and younger brother. I make sure to show them affection every day. I have no issue expressing my emotions.”
On the topic of romantic love, he shared, “Yes, I’ve been in love before, and I hope to experience it again. But right now, no.”

Mbappé’s comments sparked renewed speculation about his rumored relationship with transgender model and Playboy icon Ines Rau.
Viral images from 2022, showing Mbappé with an unidentified woman on a yacht, fueled the rumors, although these were never confirmed.
Marca reported a breakup in December 2022, though some sources suggested it could have been a case of mistaken identity.
Discussing the complexities of dating as a global football superstar, Mbappé shared, “Imagine experiencing all of this and having someone by your side. That person might not be ready for this lifestyle. I wouldn’t just be her boyfriend; I’d be her psychologist, as she’d be wondering, ‘What is this wildlife?'”
The report also mentions that Mbappé moved on from Ines Rau to begin a relationship with Stephanie Rose Bertram.
