Maya Jama addresses Love Island rumors and filming schedule.
MAYA Jama has revealed her future on Love Island and provided numerous hints about when the next season will begin production.
This weekend, the television host will appear on The Jonathan Ross Show, where she will reveal whether or not she will host the summer series.
Maya, 28, replaced Laura Whitmore, the former host of Winter Love Island, and was met with acclaim from fans.
Fans of the ITV2 show have been patiently awaiting confirmation from the star that she will return for the upcoming summer season.
Now, according to Jonathan, 62, the presenter has confirmed she will return to the villa this summer.
On tonight’s Jonathan Ross Show, she will tell the talk show host, “I’ll be doing the summer one.”
“It begins… in the summer,” she joked, unwilling to reveal the exact return date of the popular dating show.
She adds regarding her role in the show, “I was so anxious. It is a very popular show; everyone watches it, and everyone has an opinion about it.
“Many online users expressed the sentiment, ‘We want Maya to host.’ So it felt somewhat like I didn’t want to disappoint anyone.
“I don’t want it to be like, ‘You guys wanted me to do it, and now I’m fucked.’ Therefore, I felt pressure, and I had to perfect my slow-motion walk.”

Maya describes the filming of her walk-in scenes as follows: “You do a normal strut approximately three or four times. You need to “sex it up” slightly.
“The night before I went, my friends and I had a big girls’ night, and they said, ‘OK, show us how you’re going to walk.’
“As soon as I arrived and saw the camera crew, I thought, ‘I can’t do it,’ but you do it four or five times and they pick the best.”
Maya discusses the upcoming grand finale in South Africa and her predictions for the winner. “I have to be extremely impartial, don’t I? It is forbidden for me to have favorites.”
She teases, “I like Shaq because he’s hopeless romantic and because he’s so adorable and in love. But I also like Tom and Samie, who are very entertaining, and Tom has gone on a journey.”
She adds the following about fan-favorite Will Young, 23: “He is the amusing one, the foolish one.”
It follows Maya’s announcement that she would return to the Love Island villa ahead of Monday’s finale episode.
