Mathe wa ngara’s Release Verdict

Nancy Indoveria Kigunzu, also known as “Mathe wa Ngara,” will spend an additional five days in police detention.

Wednesday, August 23, the Magistrate Court at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) granted the prosecution’s request for an extension of the suspect’s detention, allowing the police additional time to interrogate the suspect and strengthen their case.

The judicial hearing has consequently been rescheduled for Monday, August 28.
Mathe wa Ngara’s attorney, Danstan Omari, verified the development to GossipA2Z.com but clarified that he was not present in court during this decision. Omari explained that he is currently representing Pastor Ezekiel in Mombasa.

Omari was also absent from the Tuesday court proceedings.
Kigunzu testified in court on Tuesday at the JKIA Law Courts that she suffers from anxiety.

The accused, who was implicated in a drug trafficking operation in Nairobi, requested a brief recess for medical treatment, which was granted on the condition that he be escorted by police.

Senior Chief Magistrate Njeri Thuku cautioned Kigunzu against using hospitalization as an excuse for missing court proceedings.

“When I want you in court, you should claim to be in the infirmary. “Let’s not engage in such games,” she said.

Tuesday, the police intended to extend her detention for additional analysis of the contraband seized during the search on Ngara last week.

In addition to marijuana, the police claimed to have discovered additional substances during the operation. In addition, 13 million shillings were discovered concealed within sacks, and seized.

In addition to these offenses, Kigunzu was accused of evading the police, which was contested by her legal counsel. Notably, she was apprehended on Monday evening, mere hours after requesting parole.
