Magarini MP Harrison Kombe alleges Paul Mackenzie Nthenge buried wives at the church altar.

Harrison Kombe, a member of parliament from Magarini, asserts that the controversial cleric Paul Mackenzie Nthenge buried two of his wives at the altar of his church.
Mackenzie, the leader of the Good News International Church, is reportedly at the center of a terrifying cult investigation in Kilifi, where he allegedly instructed members to starve themselves to “meet Jesus.”

During their seven-day investigation of a burial site in Chakama ranch, Shakahola Forest, detectives discovered a total of 98 bodies.

While Pastor Mackenzie was burying his wives, MP Kombe revealed that his heinous acts spread like wildfire, forcing him to close the church and choose to “go to the farm and practice farming.”

“Pastor Mackenzie began his ministry in the Furunzi region of Malindi. “As time passed, he lost his first wife and buried her in the church, he lost his second wife and buried her in the church, and he buried them at the altar,” he told Citizen TV on Thursday.

“Eventually, disagreements led to the closure of the church.” When it was closed, he announced that he would begin farming. This occurred roughly three years ago.”

MP Kombe continued by saying he met a young man from Eldoret County who had escaped Pastor Mackenzie’s camp when he went to Chakama to commission a road construction.

MP Kombe added that the young man had gone to the camp in search of his mother. And witnessed numerous deaths.

“He informed me that people are suffering and dying there, he said. He told me, “Since I’ve been there, I’ve seen over fifty people buried,” he said.

MP Kombe stated that after hearing the young man’s story. He rushed to the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) regional offices. But was disappointed to learn that the police officers were advocating for Pastor Mackenizie’s activities.

“I did my due diligence and took him to Malindi’s DCI offices where, to our surprise, the Deputy Officer began praising Mackenzie by stating that he is a good man. We arrested Mackenzie and he was released on Ksh.10,000 bail.”

Since the operation, Chakama Ranch has been cordoned off and a 30-day curfew has been imposed from dusk to dawn.

Wednesday, the government also restricted media access to the area.

Last month, Mackenzie was charged after two children died of starvation while in his care. And she remains in police custody.

Since then, police have also arrested fourteen cult members.

Over 300 people have been reported dead, with the majority of the victims being children.
