KUCCPS Announces Limited Application for Students Who Failed to Secure Courses, How to Apply
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) on Thursday reopened the placement portal to allow applications for the Technical Vocational Education and Training(TVET) programs.
In its statement, KUCCPS noted the application was open to the 2000 to 2023 KCSE students cohort who had failed to secure a course in the previous applications.

According to the placement service, eligible candidates were allowed to apply for placement to Artisan, Craft, and Diploma courses in public TVET institutions.
“Do you wish to join a TVET institution this September? KUCCPS is now receiving applications for placement to Artisan, Craft, and Diploma courses offered in public TVET institutions,” the placement service announced.
Students wishing to make the applications were advised to log in through the KUCCPS portal and submit their choices.
While making the announcement, KUCCPS issues a three-week timeframe for applicants to choose their preferred course. The application would run concurrently with inter-institutional transfer.
How to Apply
All applications must be done online through the student’s portal accessible through the KUCCPS students.kuccps.net
Log in using your credentials ie KCSE index number, KCSE year, and password.
(For your initial password, use your birth certificate number or KCSE index number)
Once you’ve logged in, select four courses that you would like to pursue and the government institution.
List them in order of priority, the first being the most preferable and the fourth being the least.
Once done click submit.
