KPLC announces power interruptions in 8 counties Thursday
Kenya Power has announced that there will be power interruptions in eight counties on Thursday.
The counties are Nairobi, Kilifi, Trans Nzoia, West Pokot, Kisumu, Migori, Embu, Isiolo, and Kiambu.
The interruptions will happen at diverse times of the day and in specific areas.
Parts of Nairobi to have interruptions include Muthaiga Road, Muthaiga Crescent, Naivasha Avenue, Tchui, Serengeti, Mutundu Road, Mua Park, Gertrude Hospital, Saika, Umoja 3, parts of Kangundo Road, Obama, KPCU, Silanga, Slaughter House, Maili Saba and Kayole Junction.
Others are Coca-Cola, Supa Loaf, Kamongo Waste Paper, Part of Umoja 3, Wilson Airport, Moi Educational Centre, School of the Blind, Deep West, Kogo Flats, Jonathan Ngeno, Weston Hotel, Uchumi Langata, Dam Esta, Uhuru Gardens, Deliverance Church among other areas from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Simakeni, Kaliangombe, Kokotoni Centre, Corrugated, Iron Africa, Jimba Village, Jimba Secondary, Boyani Village, Kaoyeni Primary, and Ngafeni in Kilifi will have power interruptions from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 pm.
Parts of Trans Nzoia and West Pokot counties to have power interruptions include Kapenguria, Maili Saba, West Pokot, Makunga, Bakhita, Goseta, Emoru, Taito, Maili Saba, Milima, Aruba, Kesogon, Kimeloi, Kaisagat, Kapsara, Chebarus, Kabolet, Makoi, Chisare, Ngonyek, Minex, Sibanga, Sirwo Resort, Namba Nne, Kirita, Sitatunga, Cooperative, Marura, Mukuyu, Bwayi, Makhonge, Mutua among other areas from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm.

Ober Kamoth, Paga Beach, Ujenzi Quarry, Obambo, Lisuka, Sabako, Usare, Ogal Beach, Kaloka Beach, Chuth Ber, Kabibi Mt, Osiri, and Uradi in Kisumu will have power disruptions from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm.
Kenya Power said that parts of Migori to experience interruptions from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm include Onjele Hospital, Ragana, Kenya Relief, Kowino, Karamu, Kugisingi, Ngisiru, Moheto, Mabera, Motemorabu, Kubweye Secondary, Komomwamu, Nyabohanse, Isibania Boys, KCB Isibania, KRA Isibania and Nuru Isibania.
Parts of Embu to have power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm include Gatondo C/Fact, Kiamuringa Market, Kavingori Dispensary, Muchonoke Mkt, Muinganania, Mukunguru Market, Mukunguru Sch, Siakago Hospital, Siakago Market, Siakago Boys, Siakago Girls, Siakago DO’s, Riandu Market, Minuri Market and Kanyaga Market
In Isiolo, part of Red Cross, Isiolo Catholic, Kambi ya Juu, Sweet Waters, Kulamawe, Whole of Isiolo Town, Commercial Banks, KPLC Offices, Judiciary, Ardhi House, Isiolo Police, IEBC Offices, Office of the Ombudsman, County Public Service, EACC Offices, Municipal Offices, Downtown, 101 Supermarkets, Mum’s, Bomen Hotel, Isiolo Referral Hosp, KMTC, Checheles and Tuluroba among others will have power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Kabuku Water, Potatoes Research, Red Hill Heights, Red Hill Villas, Zerenity, Mulango Farm, Wet Farm, Thingati, Sovereign Suits, Kwaheri Road, Part of Thindigua, Paradise Lost, Runda Palms, Mushroom Est, Delta Petrol Stn and Windsor Heights in Kiambu will have power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
