Kibet Bull Finally Breaks Silence on Chilling Abduction Ordeal
Viral cartoonist Gideon Kibet, popularly known as Kibet Bull, has opened up about his terrifying experience of being abducted.
Recently released from his ordeal, Kibet shared the events leading up to and during his alleged kidnapping.
Kibet recounted that the abduction happened shortly after he had a meeting with Busia Senator Okiya Omtatah in December 2024.
Following the meeting, Kibet decided to take a ride in a Super Metro matatu to Kikuyu. However, as soon as he got out of the vehicle, an unusual encounter unfolded.
“A few meters away from where I alighted, a suspicious-looking woman approached me,” Kibet said. He overheard the woman making a phone call, saying, “Mko wapi?” (Where are you?). Moments later, four masked men appeared suddenly and surrounded him.

The men grabbed Kibet, forcefully shoved him into a waiting vehicle, and drove off. During the incident, the assailants tore his shirt and used it to cover his eyes, preventing him from seeing where they were taking him.
Additionally, they tied his hands to restrict his movement, leaving him completely at their mercy.
Kibet’s brother, Ronny Kiplagat, also spoke about the distressing incident. He shared that Kibet remembers being forced into a car but has no recollection of where he was taken or what happened afterward.
