Kenyatta Family’s Sheep Worth Ksh 450K Seized in Police Raid on Private Home

On Saturday, April 29, individuals who are believed to be police officers searched a private residence in Juja Kiambu County to locate Dorper sheep that had been stolen from the Kenyatta Family’s Northlands City property.

According to the reports, the armed men tracked down the nine animals to the farm where the owner was away on business.

Kioi, on the other hand, stated to Kenyans.co.ke that he was unaware of any recovery of the stolen livestock during the stated period, and he played coy when it came to revealing any further information concerning the covert operation.

“To my knowledge, there was not a single raid that took place in the vicinity. “Try getting in touch with other government officials,” he hastily suggested.

As a result of the raid that took place at the expansive farm worth Ksh50 billion that is associated with retired President Uhuru Kenyatta, close to 101 have been recovered so far.

The suspects brought the sheep back to the farm on April 13, which resulted in the recovery of 18 sheep worth a total of Ksh900,000, according to the farm manager in Northlands City.

“We are optimistic about the process, these are not traditional breeds that feed anyhow,” he stated. “We are optimistic about the process.”

The raid took place on Monday, March 27, amid protests taking place all over the country as called for by the leader of the Azimio party, Raila Odinga.

Suspects were able to get past the security at the farm. Where they stole the sheep, lit part of it on fire, and constructed a makeshift shelter inside of it.

The raid was condemned by leaders from both the current government and the opposition. And they demanded that additional security be provided at the property of the former Head of State.

“Kenya is a country that upholds the rule of law and has citizens who are responsible. As President, I will do everything in my power to prevent the loss of life or damage to anyone’s property. That is what brings us both to the same level. President William Ruto made it clear that nobody should infringe on the rights of other people.
