Kenya’s DCI Named Africa’s Top Investigative Agency in 2024 Survey
Kenya’s Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) has emerged as the leading investigative agency in Africa.
As reported by the National Police Service (NPS), the DCI earned this distinction through a survey conducted by Kenya Trak, a renowned research and survey organization.
The evaluation assessed various agencies on their effectiveness in solving major criminal cases, operational efficiency, and the integration of innovative investigative techniques.
“The DCI has continuously excelled in investigations by collaborating with other key organizations, including INTERPOL, the FBI, the German Agency for International Cooperation, and the National Crime Agency. These partnerships enhance knowledge exchange, provide specialized training for detectives, and introduce advanced technology in areas like cybercrime, forensic analysis, counter-terrorism, and anti-narcotics operations,” said the National Police Service.
