Kenya Power has announced scheduled power outages in several regions across the country for Thursday.

The planned outages are set to occur at various intervals between 9 am and 5 pm.

The counties affected include Kiambu, Nakuru, Uasin Gishu, Kakamega, Meru, and Mombasa.

Kiambu

Power will be interrupted from 9 am to 5 pm, affecting areas such as Bata, Marbrouke Tea Ltd, Limuru Tea, Kinyogori High School, St. Francis of Assisi Limuru, Limco Shoe Co. Ltd, Roromo, St. Thomas School Mbukinya, and Kiambethu Farm.

Nakuru

The power outage will impact areas from 9 am to 5 pm, including Olrongai Center, Gitau Center, Olrongai Raymond, Komen area, Duka Moja, Redwing, Tulwobmoi, Agrico Potatoes, Marigo B, and nearby customers.

Uasin Gishu

In Uasin Gishu, power will be interrupted from 10 am to 5 pm in areas such as Kapseret Lemook, Mosombor School, Kapteldon, Nilkath Quarry, and Shajnaand Quarry.

The power outage in Kakamega will occur from 9 am to 5 pm, affecting Rondo Hotel, Chirovani Market, Ireho Market, and Kisia Market.

Meru

Power interruptions in Meru will take place from 9 am to 5 pm, impacting Kigure Kinoru, Gatobora, Mpuri Nyayo Tea Zone, Naari Market, St. Dominic Naari, Gitimene, Karimaiga, Muruguma Market, Nkuriga Booster, Kibirichia Market, Kibirichia Girls, Kibirichia Boys Secondary, Ntirimiti, Kiandugui Health Centre, Kiandugui Safricom Booster, Kamiti Primary, Marania KBC, and Kenya School of Adventure Marania. Additionally, Embori Farm, AAA Flowers, Uhuru Flowers, Kisima Farm, Kisima Market, Tambuzi, Bloomingdale, PJ Dave, and Tamba Ngombe will also be affected.

Mombasa

In Mombasa, power cuts will occur from 9 am to 5 pm in areas including Pride Inn, Serena Hotel, Pavilion, Shanzu Garden, Georgia Apartment, Kenya, White Sands, and Bamuri Beach Hotel.
