    Kenya Power Announces Wednesday Outages Across Six Counties(List)

    Kenya Power Announces Wednesday Outages Across Six Counties(List)

    Kenya Power has announced that several regions across the country will experience power outages for most of Wednesday due to scheduled maintenance work on the network.

    The planned power interruptions will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in certain areas across six counties.

    The affected counties include Nairobi, Elgeyo Marakwet, Nyeri, Kwale, Embu, and Homa Bay.

    Nairobi
    Power will be interrupted from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in various areas including Malibu Court Madaraka, Kasneb Towers, Geomaps, part of Kenyatta Hospital, KEMRI Kenyatta, Kenyatta Hospital Staff Quarters, Madina Centre Mosque, Mbaruk Road, Kanjaro Road, Mosiro Road, Sunview East, Golf Course East, Ngumo East, Kibera AMREF, Silanga, and Lini Saba.

    Elgeyo Marakwet
    The scheduled outage from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. will affect areas such as Katalel Market, Chebonet Secondary School, Kimuchi Safaricom Tower, Salaba Academy, Kipsoen TVC, Sergoit Secondary School, Sergoit Market, Kiplus Market, and Chepkitony Primary.

    Homa Bay
    Power will be out from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in areas like Samanga, Nyangweso, Kadel, Kandiege, Kanyamfwa, Kodula, Kajimo, Oriwo, Olare, Janairo, Kobila, Adhiro, Lieta, Kamwala, Nyangau, Ajigo, Gogo, Masogo, Ouru, Raluowa, and nearby customers.

    Parts of Embu will face power cuts from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in locations including Machanga, Ngungu, Ngiori Iriamurai, Kathuri, Karuki, Tenrimakima, Ngecha, Airtel Ngiori, Mbondoni, Mwanyani Mulukusi, Mwanjo, Ndune, Iriamurai Mission, Jaganath, Kianjiru Ridge, Thiba Farm, and Mashamba.

    Nyeri
    From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., power will be disrupted in areas like Gatondo Market, Gatondo Secondary School, Muthuthi-Ini TBC, Kiawaiguru TBC, Mutito TBC, Kariki TBC, Gitema-Ini TBC, Itundu Market, Kiarage TBC, Kangiri TBC, and Gachuguina TBC.

    Additional areas in Nyeri, including Milimani Primary, Milimani Dairy, Karichen, Baraka East, Breadgate, Njumbi Farmlusoi Resort, Kings Medical, Kinwara Holdings, Gatuamba, Simba Fresh, Aguthi Pri, Msafiri, and Lusoi, will experience power outages from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    Kwale
    Power interruptions from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. will affect locations such as Mshiu, Mwangwei, Majoreni, Mrima, Vanga, Horohoro, and Mwangulu.
