Kenya Power Announces Scheduled Power Interruptions in Four Counties
Kenya Power has announced that some areas across the country will experience power interruptions on Sunday, March 10, 2024. The scheduled outages will allow for essential system maintenance.
Affected Counties and Timings
The power outages will occur between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM in different regions. The affected counties include Nairobi, Machakos, Kisumu, and Tana River.
Nairobi
Residents and businesses in Babadogo Road, Impala, Kiwi Brand, Regal Pharmaceutical, Dawanol, Dogra, Premier Industries, Premier Food, Chandaria, Jubilee Tissue, Police Logistics, Aztec, Razco, Pepsi, Lysons Maid, and surrounding areas will experience power interruptions from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Machakos
Power will be interrupted in Apex, Athi River Makadara, Mutongoni, Ad Pack, KMC Factory, Star Sheikh, St. Paul’s, and nearby locations from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Kisumu
Scheduled power cuts will affect Manyatta Sije, Manyatta Koyango, Sansora Hotel, Kilimani Shopping Centre, Lions High School, CITAM Church, and adjacent areas from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Tana River
Areas including Hola Town, Masalani, Bura, and surrounding regions will have power interruptions from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
