KCPE And KPSEA Results To Be Released Before Christmas, Says Education PS Belio Kipsang
Education PS Belio Kipsang has announced that candidates who undertook the just-concluded Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) exams will receive their results before they experience the Christmas festivity season.
He stated this on Wednesday during a briefing on the three-day national examination, in which he praised all parties involved for assuring a smooth operation.
Kipsang asserted that the marking exercise will begin immediately, and that meeting the deadline will take precedence over all other considerations.
“Everything went well. I would first like to thank our instructors for their hard work, as well as our colleagues from the interior, TSC, security teams, and all the other teams with whom we have collaborated,” he said.

PS Kipsang asserted that the ministry will ensure that nobody is left behind during the transition to the next education level despite the fact that 2,6 million candidates were taking the exams.
Approximately 1.4 million candidates took the KCPE and 1.2 million took the KPSEA (Grade 6) exams.
“We had a small number of pregnancies this year as a result of the empowerment we are providing to our parents. We are pleased that we are decreasing the number of adolescent pregnancies, he said, evaluating the isolated cases during the examination cycle of 2023.
This year’s cohort was the last to take the KCPE in preparation for the full implementation of the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) in primary schools, where students will now take the KPSEA.
