Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi Slams CS Justin Muturi Over Exposé on Abductions- You Can Ship Out
Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has strongly criticized Public Service Cabinet Secretary Justin Muturi following an exposé implicating the government in abductions across Kenya.
On Wednesday, January 15, Sudi accused Muturi of seeking political relevance through what he described as a desperate move. He questioned the timing of Muturi’s revelations, labeling them as a ploy for attention.
“This is nothing but a blackmail attempt to regain lost political ground,” Sudi stated. “The timing reeks of cowardice and a desperate attempt to stay politically relevant.”
Sudi also addressed the alleged abduction of Muturi’s son, highlighting the timing and motives behind it. “About your son’s case, who is my age mate, kwani alishikwa bure? (Was he arrested for no reason?)” he quipped.
Muturi had made headlines on Tuesday, January 14, when he disclosed shocking details about the role of the National Intelligence Service (NIS) under Director General Noordin Haji in a series of abductions. He claimed these revelations came to light during his statement recorded at Kilimani Police Station.

The CS alleged that minimal effort had been made to locate his son, Leslie Muturi, who went missing during the June-August Gen Z-led protests. Muturi revealed that only a direct appeal to President William Ruto led to a breakthrough.
According to Muturi, during a meeting with the President, he openly suggested that NIS agents were behind his son’s disappearance. After initial hesitation, Ruto confronted Noordin Haji, who confirmed the allegations and promised Leslie’s release within an hour.
Sudi’s remarks add to mounting criticism from Kenya Kwanza leaders. On January 14, Aldai MP Marianne Kitany called for Muturi’s resignation and threatened a censure motion against him.
Despite the backlash, Muturi remains defiant, challenging lawmakers to proceed with any impeachment plans they might have.
