Kalonzo: No Trust in Ruto’s CS Picks
Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has maintained that he has no faith in President William Rutoโs Cabinet Secretary nominees.
In a message posted on X on Friday, Kalonzo continued to express his displeasure with Rutoโs pick.
โWe have no faith in KK Cabinet Secretaries nominees,โ he said.
Kalonzoโs remark comes just days after he urged Wiper MPs to reject the appointment of ODM members nominated for CS positions.
On Sunday, Kalonzo told Wiper MPs not to approve the appointment of the four ODM nominees when the Committee on Appointments tables its report in the House.
The four are Opiyo Wandayi (Energy), Wycliffe Oparanya (Cooperatives), John Mbadi (National Treasury), and Hassan Joho (Mining).

On Saturday, Mbadi, Wandayi, Salim Mvurya (Trade), Rebecca Miano (Tourism), and Kipchumba Murkomen (Sports) will appear before the committee.
The final day of the vetting will see Oparanya, Joho, Alfred Mutua (Labour) Wycliffe Oparanya (Cooperatives), Justin Muturi (Public Service), and Stella Langโat of (Gender) appearing before the MPs.
