Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka on Sunday, March 17, led a group of 17 politicians and leaders drawn from the opposition to donate Ksh300,000.

Kalonzo and his team made the contribution at the Anointed Christian Fellowship Church of the Lord in Banana, Kiambu County where the politician had attended a Sunday service.

Speaking while handing over the contribution, Kalonzo stated that Kenya was undergoing tough times and hence the need to help each other.

Although the church did not have a formal fundraiser, Kalonzo remarked that the money could be used for further construction of the house of worship.

“We can see the contractor did a good workmanship in laying the tiles and we hope the cash can be used to paint the church,” Kalonzo remarked.

Other leaders who contributed to the Ksh300,000 included Kitui Senator Enoch Wambua and his Machakos counterpart Agnes Kavindu.
