Jeremiah Kioni Offers Hope to Kenyans After Finance Bill Passage
Kenyans have received a message of hope from Embattled Jubilee Secretary Jeremiah Kioni.
Kioni stated in a statement on Friday that the Kenya Kwanza passed the finance bill by a minority vote.
He explained that it was evident that the government’s lack of morality and conscience. Extends to even the most elementary structures.
“The aggressive approach of a true minority to pass the Finance Bill is reminiscent of the dark days of the past. “A new dawn is approaching,” noted Kioni.
Members of Parliament approved President William Ruto’s proposed 2023 Finance Bill on Wednesday evening.

This means that Kenyans will have to dig deeper into their pockets to fund Ruto’s first budget as president.
The bill was passed despite a heated debate between the opposition and the ruling party over its provisions.
There were 87 proposed amendments to the Bill, some of which were approved on Tuesday while the National Assembly debated them late into the night.
The 16 percent increase in the value-added tax on fuel, from 8 percent to 16 percent, was the most significant of the passed proposals.
Githunguri MP Gathoni Wamuchomba was the only legislator from Githunguri to support the bill, while 88 legislators from Azimio voted against the amendment.
In response, the leader of the Azimio party, Raila Odinga, has called a consultation meeting for next Tuesday to determine the next course of action following the passage of the contentious Finance Bill 2023.
The opposition stated that the passage of the bill signifies a new era of leadership and must be opposed.
Martha Karua stated at a press conference at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Foundation that Kenyans can never be helpless in determining their fate.
