Israel Unveils ‘Barbaric’ Images Of Hamas Attacks
Israel claims to have collected hundreds of hours of footage since Hamas attacks sparked a devastating war, including footage of a gunman beheading a victim and other victims being riddled with gunfire in vehicles.
Ahead of an anticipated ground invasion of the blockaded Gaza Strip, the Israeli army presented approximately 40 minutes of verified images from the 7 October assault to the international media on Monday.
A gunman is reportedly seen hacking at the skull of a dead victim with a garden tool in Beeri, a kibbutz community near the Gaza border where more than 100 people were killed.
Others can be seen standing nearby and yelling support. Then, shots are discharged into the body.
Hamas has posted images of its attacks on its social media platforms but has denied any wrongdoing.
Israel has shown US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and other visiting ministers footage of what it has termed “barbaric” behavior, including the killing of neonates and the alleged raping and torturing of women before their slaughter.

The AFP was incapable of independently confirming allegations of rape and torture.
According to Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari, “people around the world are saying this is another round in Gaza.”
“But it’s something else. It is a war against humanity, not against Israel,” Hagari told reporters after watching the harrowing images of the attacks.
Since the early morning hours of October 7, violence in Israel has resulted in the deaths of at least 1,400 people, to which Israel has responded with strikes on Gaza that have resulted in the deaths of at least 2,750 people.
The footage displayed by Hagari was taken from the body cameras and mobile phones of some of the hundreds of Hamas fighters slain or captured, as well as the phones of victims and emergency responders, according to military officials.
The images depict gunmen entering a military base, searching for victims in Beeri, where dozens of captives were taken, and mowing down young women and men fleeing a music festival where over 250 people were killed.

Beeri was one of the 20 or so communities and army bases near the Gaza border that were struck the hardest.
One scene depicts a car attempting to exit through a community gate while gunmen open fire on the driver and passenger. The car continues to move with the passengers evidently dead.
A lengthy bodycam sequence depicts militants in green fatigues seeking targets while traversing well-kept gardens between empty homes.
The background is filled with gunfire, and a dog that appears is pumped with three gunshots.
The body of a male is seen being dragged from a vehicle, and his phone and bag are removed.
The footage from a first responder’s cell phone reveals a blood-splattered hallway in a residence with footprints and trails as if a corpse had been dragged along.
Other images depict approximately a dozen young women wailing in a shelter while gunfire erupts outside.
Several depict gunmen firing at victims’ corpses.
One woman in bloodstained clothing is seen being dragged by her hair from the rear of a four-wheel-drive truck into the front seat.
She is now believed to be one of at least 199 detainees being held in Gaza, according to Israel.
The images have been validated against official and family accounts of the murders and victim identification, according to military officials.
