I Kneel Before My Husband to Show Him Love and Affection – President Samia Suluhu
Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu kneels before her husband as the ultimate show of love and affection.
The Head of State while addressing an audience in an undated video on Azam TV, proudly proclaims the wifely act she does.
In a speech about keeping family and marital traditions, the President called on citizens to maintain their culture.
“Mila zetu nzuri, bila kuwacha sifa na desturi zetu, ni nzuri, tuende na wanaume katika kuleta maendeleo. Nayasema haya wasababu mwingine anaeza kutoka hapa kasema Rais Kasema tuko sawa na haja zote za kijamii. Uongo. Hatuko kwa nyanja zote za kijamii. Mimi naomba kama Rais mbele ya mume wangu nitapiga goti”

She proclaimed her status as a President does not stop her from honoring her husband.
“Na sipigi goti kwamba ni inferior, hapana, napiga goti kwa huba na mapenzi” she added as she received outstanding cheers from the audience.
“Kwahivyo hizo tusiziache, tutunze familia zetu, tutunze watoto wetu pamoja, na tulete upendo katika nyumba zetu”
Suuhu married an agriculturalist and they have five children together.
She married Hafidh Ameir in 1978 and the President has two co-wives.
