Hustlers Will Send Us Out Of Power With Vengeance If We Don’t Deliver- UDA Governor Warns
Embu Governor Cecily Mbarire has warned Kenya Kwanza leaders to tone down on politics.
Mbarire instead advised them to focus on service delivery, saying hustlers will send them home if they fail to deliver.
Mbarire, who is the chairperson of the ruling United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party, said leaders can no longer afford to be distracted by sideshows.
“I want to beg of us as the chair of UDA that let us stay focused on what we promised those hustlers because if we don’t deliver, those hustlers will send us out of power,” Mbarire said.
In a video seen by Gossipa2z.com, Mbarire said the hustlers will send leaders in UDA home with ”vengeance” if they don’t deliver on their mandate by 2027.
Addressing the Kenya Kwanza Parliamentary Group meeting at State House on Tuesday, Mbarire said government allied leaders must declare a ceasefire and serve Kenyans.
“I want to beg us from where I stand, let us stay focused, let’s not lose sight of our goal,” Mbarire said when she addressed the PG at State House.
“You guys you promised Kenyans big things, the expectations out there are very high.”
This is the first time that the UDA chairperson was firing a warning shot on party leaders amid internal wrangles rocking the ruling party.
There have been squabbles among leaders with Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua engaged in a political crossfire with senior Kenya Kwanza leaders in Parliament.

Some MPs including National Assembly Majority leader Kimani Ichung’wah and his Whip Sylvanus Osoro have accused Gachagua of fomenting tribal hatred through his one man, one shilling mantra.
However, Gachagua has fired back telling the leaders that his unity call for Mount Kenya must never be misconstrued to be tribalism and tribal incitement.
On Tuesday, Mbarire called UDA leaders to order, warning them of the dire consequences that await the party if they don’t deliver by 2027.
“If we start losing focus now, I don’t know how we will face Kenyans in 2027, I want to stay focused on what we promised the people of Embu County and I believe each one of you will stay focused on what you promised people in your counties,” Mbarire said.
The UDA chairperson said the leaders in Kenya Kwanza should stay focused on addressing what they promised Kenyans and not politics.
“Let’s talk about roads, electricity, health, and let us tone down on the politics, it is not healthy, it is the wrong time,” Mbarire said.
