Homeboyz Eye Ulinzi Stars Scalp After Sofapaka Rout
Kakamega Homeboyz team manager Boniface Imbenzi says they have their eyes set on moving to the top-four bracket when they visit Ulinzi Stars in a FKF Premier League on Sunday.
Imbenzi wants his charges to build on their pre-international break 5-0 rout against Sofapaka when they come up against the Soldiers, who have been blowing hot and cold this season.
โThe boys are well prepared knowing that the match against Ulinzi (Stars) will be tough although in our last match (against Sofapaka) we did very well while Ulinzi lost but that is the past and we are looking forward to the Sunday clashโ, said Imbenzi.
Homeboyz sit sixth on 18 points, four points adrift of leaders Posta Rangers.

Imbenzi however warned his side not to underrate Ulinzi Stars who registered back-to-back defeats before the international break. They lie eleventh on the log on 13 points.
The Soldiers fell 2-0 to Kenya Police before the break and had suffered a 1-0 defeat against Bidco United the previous weekend.
โThe challenge that we have is that Ulinzi have prepared and are ready for us because they lost their last match and will be very keen to return to winning ways.
We are also playing away and so we must really focus and avoid underrating them”, said Imbenzi.
Homeboyz have won five matches and three draws and losses in the same measure in the 11 matches they have played.
