Govt Offers Kenyans Free Aviation Lessons: How to Apply
Through its training institution, the East African School of Aviation, the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) has announced free training for Kenyans.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the institution in Embakasi, off Airport North Road, will offer Kenyans instruction in five aviation-related topics.
The training will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 14th.
As part of the open day, various experts will engage attendees in five thematic areas, including how to maintain an aircraft airworthy, fly a plane safely, and the management of flight turnaround – the time between a plane landing at an airport and taking off again.
Aviation experts will also instruct cabin personnel on safety and maintaining aircraft separation.
“The primary objective of the event is to provide a good opportunity for potential students and the general public to learn more about the aviation industry and interact with professionals in the field. The theme of the open/innovation day is Leveraging on Innovation To Transform The Next Generation Of Aviators,” read the notice in part.
In addition, attendees will be provided with excerpts from 22 courses offered by aviation institutions, such as airport operations, flight dispatch, air traffic management, cabin crew, and aeronautical engineering.
