Addressing Uasin Gishu County residents, Boss reassured them that President William Ruto would not face challenges while she is in office.
Meanwhile, the impeachment conversation continues as Tana River Senator Danson Mungatana has introduced a censure motion in the Senate to scrutinize Gachagua’s conduct.
Mungatana accused the Deputy President of violating constitutional requirements regarding his behavior in office, stating that Gachagua had neglected his official duties and oath.

During a press briefing on Monday, Mungatana highlighted that since Gachagua’s inauguration, his remarks have contributed to rising tensions and divisions within the country.
“Rigathi’s public statements have alienated segments of the Kenyan population and escalated inter-ethnic tensions,” Mungatana noted.
Reports suggest a fallout between Gachagua and President Ruto.
The Deputy President has cautioned Ruto against betraying the Mount Kenya region, which heavily supported his presidential campaign.
“He assured Kenyans that his deputy would not be disrespected under his leadership. We now urge him to uphold that promise. Failing to do so will damage trust,” Gachagua stated on Sunday.
As Mount Kenya’s top political figure, Gachagua reminded Ruto not to take the region’s overwhelming backing during the 2022 election for granted.
