Gen Zs Attacked Us in Parliament Because of Lies – Furious Rift Valley MP Tells Off Ruto
Marakwet West MP Timothy Kipchumba criticized President William Ruto on Thursday, accusing him of failing to deliver on his campaign promises.
Kipchumba, speaking to his constituents, voiced his frustration over several unfinished projects initiated by the president in his Sub-County.
The legislator urged the President to abandon the habit of making numerous promises to Kenyans without fulfilling them.
He further called on President Ruto to allocate sufficient funds to complete several stalled educational institutions, which have been neglected for extended periods.
“I sincerely urge the president to ensure that when promises are made to Kenyans, there is funding available to complete the projects,” Kipchumba remarked.

“Whenever I meet the president, I remind him of this unfinished school, so I urge him to fulfill the 3-month promise he made.”
The outspoken MP pointed to a recent security breach at the parliament building by anti-government protesters as evidence of widespread dissatisfaction among Kenyans.
“These Gen Zs attacked us in parliament due to the unfulfilled promises, and I don’t want to face the same from the residents of Marakwet West—I want to work for them,” the MP stated.
Kipchumba’s comments come just days after the government spokesperson announced that the Head of State would continue relaunching stalled projects to ensure their completion.
Speaking to journalists in Nairobi, Mwaura described Ruto’s decision to relaunch projects initiated by his predecessor as a commendable act of accountability.
“If a project is stalled and then relaunched, it is the highest form of accountability,” the government spokesperson argued.
“When you see His Excellency the President ensuring that projects are resumed and completed, it demonstrates a clear intention to fulfill their purpose,” Mwaura added.
