According to footage obtained from a fellow inmate, he appears gaunt and wears a hearing aid.
He is heard saying, “Should I eliminate this DuckDuck?” And a friend responds, “I wouldn’t bother using that.”
Glitter responds, “What should I do now?” Let’s attempt to locate this Onion.”
It is believed that “DuckDuck” refers to a search engine that prioritizes privacy.
Glitter was released after serving half of a 16-year sentence imposed in 2015 for sexually abusing girls under the age of 13 during his 1970s and 1980s glam rock heyday.
In 1999, he was imprisoned for four months after 4,000 images of child abuse were discovered on his computer.
Glitter traveled abroad and was arrested for sexually abusing two girls in Vietnam in 2006.
