From Business Trip to Body Bag: British Executive Found Stuffed in a Sack After Night at Gay Bar

Surveillance footage has surfaced showing the last known movements of British businessman Campbell Scott before he disappeared and was later found dead.

The 58-year-old was last seen walking through a parking lot, dressed in a blue top with the Scotland flag on the sleeve and casual shorts. His outfit suggested he was out running errands before vanishing.

In the video, Scott, originally from Dunfermline, Fife, is seen carrying a few items in his hands while his glasses rest on his head.

A few hours after this footage was taken, he went missing. His associate reported his disappearance later that same day.

Before he disappeared, Scott, who worked as a senior director at the credit scoring company FICO, had been out socializing at various bars and nightclubs. Witnesses say he appeared cheerful and in good spirits.

He had also attended a business conference at a well-known hotel in Westlands, Nairobi. His colleagues grew worried when he failed to return, as the conference was set to continue for several days.

On the morning of February 17, he went out for a walk around 11:15 a.m. He was supposed to deliver a presentation at the conference, but when he didnโ€™t show up, his colleagues became increasingly concerned. Their worry deepened when he didnโ€™t answer calls made between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

A few days after he was reported missing, local herders in Makueni made a shocking discoveryโ€”Scottโ€™s body, wrapped in a sack. His hands and legs were tied, indicating he had been killed elsewhere before his remains were dumped in a forested area in Wote, Makueni County.

FICO later confirmed his death, releasing a statement acknowledging that Nairobi police had identified Scottโ€™s body. The company requested privacy as authorities carried out their investigation.

โ€œFICO can confirm that Nairobi police have identified the body of Campbell Scott, a FICO employee. Campbell went missing last Sunday while on a business trip to Nairobi. We are not sharing further details, as the investigation is in the hands of the police,โ€ the statement read.

A post-mortem examination to establish the cause of death is scheduled for Tuesday, February 25
