Ex-DP’s Ally Reveals Gachagua’s New Tactic of Addressing Supporters After Chaotic Rallies

Kiambu Senator Karungo Thang’wa has firmly declared that former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua will not be dissuaded from connecting with his followers, despite facing various challenges in recent months.

Thang’wa emphasized that the team around Gachagua has come up with a strategic and effective method of communication that will enable the former deputy president to keep engaging with his supporters in a meaningful way.

Thang’waโ€™s remarks come at a time when some of Gachaguaโ€™s public rallies have faced disruptions, with suggestions that state intolerance might be behind these disturbances.

These setbacks have made it difficult for Gachagua to address his supporters in person, but Thang’wa made it clear that such obstacles would not prevent the former deputy president from staying in touch with the people who support him.

Instead, the senator pointed out that Gachaguaโ€™s team has adapted to the situation by adopting modern digital tools, which will allow Gachagua to maintain direct communication with his base.

In light of the recent disruptions at Gachagua’s rallies, Thang’wa revealed that the strategy going forward would involve utilizing technology to bridge the gap between Gachagua and his followers.

The senator shared that one of the primary methods to be employed will be phone calls, allowing Gachagua to reach out to his supporters directly, no matter where they are.

This shift to a more personal and direct form of engagement is seen as an important step in maintaining the connection with the people, despite the challenges posed by physical gatherings.

By embracing this digital approach, Gachagua’s team hopes to keep the lines of communication open, ensuring that he can continue to address issues of importance to his supporters and remain an influential figure in the political landscape, even if the traditional means of rallying are no longer feasible.

Thang’wa’s comments reflect a growing understanding of the importance of adapting to new circumstances while still striving to uphold the values of direct engagement with the public.
