Duale’s Stern Warning: Surrender Guns, Uhuru Family Told!
Aden Duale, the defense cabinet secretary, has stated that the government will not hesitate to take action against the family of former president Uhuru Kenyatta if they do not surrender their armaments.
He instructed the family to surrender the firearms to the Head of the Firearms Licensing Board immediately.
“We don’t care if you continue to scream about your children and mother; the law will catch up with you. “Find the Head of the Licensing Board, Rashid Yakub, and return all the firearms to him,” he instructed.
Duale proceeded to warn the retired president about allegations that he funded opposition-led protests.
“If you (Uhuru Kenyatta) and your family continue funding anti-government demonstrations and possessing firearms, you are breaking the law,” he said.

However, Uhuru has denied allegations that he is funding the protests, and the government has not provided evidence to support the allegations.
While denying involvement, the President posed the following question: “Have you seen me at any of these events? Have you heard me discuss any of these occurrences?”
The defense secretary advised Uhuru to withdraw from politics and allow the current administration to carry out its duties without interference.
“Being the son of the president, we gave you 10 years to govern the country. “We want your family to live in retirement as Mwai Kibaki and Daniel Moi did,” said Duale.
Uhuru Kenyatta finally addressed the allegations that he finances the anti-government demonstrations in Azimio on Friday.
He questioned whether the allegations were a result of his association with Azimio leader Raila Odinga.
“Am I not permitted to communicate with my friends? Is that a crime today in Kenya? Perhaps you should tell me,” he suggested.
