Courses in both universities and colleges were classified into clusters ranging from 1 to 23, based on specific subject combinations requisite for each program.
To streamline the application process, the portal automatically computed a student’s cluster points and promptly displayed them after each cluster grouping.
Moreover, KUCCPS factored in the approved capacities of the universities or colleges applied to by the students, strictly adhering to the stipulated thresholds.
Wahome underscored the application of affirmative action for gender, persons with disabilities, and marginalized regions as part of the placement considerations.
Highlighting the agency’s commitment to transparency and fairness, she affirmed the continuous development of robust policies and internal controls by the Board over the years to ensure an equitable and efficient placement process.
