Comedian Nasra Organizing Beyonce Concert. Nasra Yusuff recently announced on Instagram her intention to bring American music superstar Beyonce to Kenya for a concert.

The former Churchill Show comedian confirmed the plans on her Instagram story, writing, “Nataka kuorganize concert ya Beyonce next monthโ€ฆ ni nyinyi tu mniambie tickets ngapi tuweke?”

She then confirmed her seriousness by sending Beyonce a chat message in which she says, “Hi Nasra, set the date.” “Mkiendelea kuona ni jokes ntafanya tickets 100k,” Nasra wrote in another message commenting on a blog page that questioned her intentions.

It has only been a few weeks since Nasra Yusuf announced that she and her husband, Director Rashid, are no longer together.

In an interview with Mungai Eve, the comedian revealed that there was more to the breakup than meets the eye. Nasra revealed in the interview that she hasn’t spoken with her father in nearly two years due to her husband.

She went on to say that her father was initially opposed to their relationship, but she went ahead and married Director Rashid anyway. As a result, they haven’t spoken in nearly two years.

When asked if they talked after the breakup, Nasra stated that she has yet to find the courage to confront her father. She also expresses concern that her father will reject her if she attempts to meet with him.

Moving on hasn’t been easy for me; I’ve cried myself to sleep, I’ve broken down in front of friends and strangers, I’ve been in denial, and I’ve had so much regret, but I finally accepted that it was time to close that chapter. I went through all the stages of grief, and if it hadn’t been for my mom, sister, and friends, I would have sunk even deeper.
