Close Aide of Rigathi Gachagua Alleges State House Bullying of DP: “Ni Rais Atuambie Ukweli”
Cracks are appearing in the relationship between President William Ruto and his deputy, Rigathi Gachagua.
Gachagua’s close associate, Gilbert Kiptalam, known as GK Malema, has pointed fingers at certain State House officials for the challenges faced by the deputy president.
Who is causing problems for Rigathi Gachagua?
In an exclusive interview with Gossipa2z.com, Malema stressed the need for Ruto to address the disrespectful and intimidating conduct of his staff and political allies towards Gachagua.
Malema accused State House officials of fueling discord between the president and his deputy through various social media platforms.
“On multiple occasions, State House blogger Dennis Itumbi and his associates have disseminated negative information via WhatsApp groups and Facebook, aiming to undermine the Deputy President,” Malema said.
He criticized State House bloggers, likening them to aspiring MCAs more interested in competition than in their duty to promote the achievements of the two principals.

Malema claimed that Itumbi had instructed all State House bloggers to refrain from posting about Gachagua since the 2022 elections, despite the deputy president’s bloggers actively promoting content for the president.

Malema urged the president to address the issue promptly before it escalates further.
“When will his staff stop fighting the Deputy President? Mahali tumefika,ni Rais atuambie ukweli wa mambo aliongezea!” he added.
He also called on the people of Mt. Kenya to stand together in support of Deputy President Gachagua and reject leaders who oppose him.
Malema labeled such leaders as “political parasites,” accusing them of forcing the region to support leaders who don’t represent their interests, likening them to brood parasite birds disrupting legitimate nests.
He cautioned that these divisive politics could jeopardize the Kenya Kwanza alliance if left unchecked.
What’s causing the divide between Ruto and Gachagua?
- Meanwhile, Nyeri Governor Mutahi Kahiga addressed the issues causing tension within the Kenya Kwanza administration.
- Speaking on Inooro FM on Tuesday, May 21, Kahiga listed incidents that might have contributed to the alleged discord between Ruto and Gachagua.
- The Nyeri governor alleged that some government officials had denied Gachagua access to a helicopter for official functions.
