CCTV Footage Shows How 19-Year-Old Woman, Unknown Man Checked Into Kasarani Apartment At 3 am
Nairobi DCI investigators are currently examining the circumstances surrounding the demise of a 19-year-old woman, purportedly resulting from a fall from the 10th floor of an apartment within the Thome estate, Kasarani region.
They are actively pursuing three individuals who had contact with the deceased, as well as her partner, who was discovered unconscious with stab wounds inside a temporary accommodation he had rented.
Gossipa2z.com has acquired unique CCTV footage depicting the final moments as the pair entered the apartment around 3 am on Saturday following a night of revelry. Later, the girl was discovered deceased, wearing only a t-shirt.
The video shows Lawrence Gitonga exiting the elevator on the 10th floor, accompanied by the 19-year-old girl whose hand he is holding.
He initially goes the wrong way, but then corrects his course and goes directly to the short-stay apartment.
He retrieves the house keys and returns to unlock the door, while the girl patiently waits outside.
Gitonga succeeds in unlocking the door, and the girl enters the house before he does.
The girl was last spotted alive before her lifeless body was discovered outside the apartment hours later. She was wearing only a red T-shirt at the time.

Unexpectedly, the individual she had registered with for the temporary accommodation was discovered incapacitated within the residence, having sustained eight stab wounds to both the chest and back.
Blood stains scattered across the floor of the living room and the walls of the bathroom suggest a possible altercation between individuals or a desperate fight for survival.
Initial inquiries suggest that the young girl may have either leaped or been pushed from the house’s balcony.
Insiders familiar with the investigation have informed Gossipa2z.com that authorities are actively searching for three individuals who had contact with the pair before the incident, to assist with the inquiry.
Law enforcement authorities are anticipated to pay a visit to a club located in the Roysambu vicinity, where it is thought that the pair encountered each other on Friday evening. Subsequently, they proceeded to Thome, where they continued their drinking session.
Investigators are additionally analyzing surveillance camera footage and tracking their final actions to solve the enigmatic homicide.
Gitonga discovered unconscious in his residence, was promptly taken to Uhai Neema Hospital. He is currently under police supervision at the hospital, as he is considered the primary suspect while receiving medical treatment.
The 19-year-old girl’s remains are currently situated at City Mortuary, while authorities search for her family to inform them. Once the family is contacted, a post-mortem examination date will be arranged sometime this week.
