    CCTV Footage Captures 2 Thieves Breaking Into Vehicle in Nairobi

    CCTV footage captured two thieves breaking into a vehicle parked in front of a Nairobi shopping mall during the day and making off with several items, causing Nairobi residents to express their concern.

    In a video obtained by PoliticalPulseChat, the two criminals can be seen making their way to the mall’s entrance and exiting a white vehicle before one of them makes a phone call. 

    Unaware of the glaring cameras, the pair then begins breaking into a car situated next to theirs.

    The criminals were also seen using their vehicle’s door to conceal themselves as they committed the robbery.ย

    The criminals are then observed stealing several items from the car and placing them in the trunk of their vehicle before fleeing.

    According to unverified reports, the incident occurred outside of a prominent shopping center in Nairobi West.

    CCTV footage captured the vehicle’s license plate number as the robbers fled the scene. As a result, the criminals are likely to be apprehended shortly.

    Kenyans have reacted to the incident, which according to the CCTV timestamp occurred in broad daylight.

    This comes at a time when residents of Nairobi have complained about a rise in robberies in the capital.

    In June of this year, CCTV cameras captured three thieves breaking into multiple residences and stealing valuable objects of unknown value.

    The trio initially targeted a vehicle located in front of a residence, seizing the opportunity to steal valuables left unattended in the vehicle.

    In September, a CCTV camera captured three armed men robbing a couple outside their Runda Estate, Thika Town, Kiambu County residence.
